Our goal is to help young people by showing them real-life situations through role play and personal stories. We believe that by acting out these scenarios youth can better understand the challenges they may face. This method allows them to see different viewpoints and find useful solutions to their problems. By sharing testimonies, we aim to inspire and empower them to make positive choices in their lives. Ultimately, we want our youth to feel equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed.
The assembly ends with Keynote speaker, Anwan ”Big G” Glover discussing his personal experiences with gun violence, the losses he has endured, and providing an inspirational story on how changing the narrative through love, hugs, triumph, and overcoming odds can be the most impactful to your life.
